 We acknowledge and pay respect to the Indigenous people of the land in which we live, learn, work, and play.  

District 10 is built on unceded Mi'kmaq territory.  

We also pay respect to the knowledge embedded in the Aboriginal custodians of this land and to the Elders  past, present, and future.

 Now’s the Time for great possibilities for the HRM. Change is in the air. I want to be the voice for all those who, traditionally and currently, have not felt heard. I want Halifax to be a more welcoming, diverse and inclusive place, for all people to live, learn, work and play. I love the concept of home, and I believe that Halifax should provide a feeling of a safe home for all who live here. I am passionate about making this happen by lending my voice, to this vision, for our community.

We all know that the world has changed. With those changes come new responsibilities. Candidates will be allowed to campaign as they traditionally have done in the past but now are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distancing. I am very concerned about the overall health and well-being of our community and will take every precaution to keep the public, and myself, healthy and safe. 

"Now's the Time" 

My campaign platform is easy to remember.  3 E's are my priorities:

• Equity (which includes equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility)
• Environment
• Economy

 I want to be your voice, for  your community.  I'm listening.  You have told me that your concerns for District 10 are as follows:

• rapid transit plan (more/frequent routes)
• school bus service
• Bedford Highway plans
• replace/repair/install sidewalks
• Noise
• Traffic control and traffic calming:  crossing guards/ speed/  better signage/ local traffic only
• Amount of construction
• Affordable housing
• Food security
• Access to technology
